How to choose car wash software in 2026

Brilloo point of sale checkout with several services on one ticket

The right car wash software is the one that checks out fast, reconciles cash by branch, and brings the driver back. Before you sign, check the counter, automatic promotions, cash control, memberships, loyalty, online booking, reports, local currency, and a price you can read. Try at least two products with your team.

Brilloo is our product. This English page states what it does and what it does not do. The competitor comparison is published in Spanish, because that is the search this guide answers.

Why a generic register falls short

A retail register does not know vehicle type, a free-wash redemption, an appointment, and a counter walk-in on the same ticket. A notebook or a spreadsheet fails in ordinary ways: the wash is written twice, a midday cash drop is forgotten, and a Tuesday discount is applied by memory. None of that needs a made-up growth percentage to be a real problem.

The day-to-day counter flow is in the car wash point-of-sale guide. Use this page to decide whether a specialized system is worth paying for.

One counter ticket can hold several services, so a family or a small fleet is not three separate sales.

What to ask every vendor

  • Do promotions apply by themselves from the day, the service, and the vehicle type?
  • Can one walk-in ticket hold several washes?
  • Can you move cash to a safe at midday without changing the day’s sales total?
  • Are memberships a recurring card charge, or a pass you sell at the counter?
  • Does loyalty redeem inside the sale?
  • Do online bookings land on the same ticket, with a calendar reminder?
  • Can you contact inactive customers and still honor opt-outs?
  • Are commissions for the seller, for the washer, or for both?
  • Is there a time clock? Does the system issue tax invoices (in Mexico, CFDI)?
  • Does checkout depend on a license plate or a camera?
  • Is there a yard or queue screen?
  • How do you pay the subscription, in which currency, and how many trial days do you get?

Where Brilloo fits

Brilloo is a browser app for an active counter: automatic promotions, counter memberships (printed or sent on WhatsApp, renewed by hand), loyalty, online booking with an .ics file, partial cash cuts, a branch cash vault, and bank-deposit records. Company currency can be MXN, USD, GTQ, HNL, EC, COP, ARS, CLP, or PEN. The software subscription is billed in MXN for Mexican companies and in USD otherwise. Cards work in both. OXXO and SPEI pay the subscription in MXN only. They do not charge the driver’s wash.

It does not calculate washer production pay. It has no time clock, does not issue CFDI, does not store license plates, and has no yard or queue board. Skipping plates is a design choice, not a certification and not a claim that the product is safer than others. You also cannot look a car up by plate.

The daily cash cut closes the branch. Midday drops are already subtracted from the cash you expect in the drawer.

Questions

What should I check before buying car wash software?

Check a fast counter, automatic promotions, cash control by branch, memberships, loyalty, online booking, reports, local currency, and a clear monthly price. Try at least two products with the people who will use them at a busy hour. A cheap register can be enough for a simple log. It is a poor fit when cash, repeat visits, and several branches have to live in one place.

How much does Brilloo cost?

On 21 October 2026 the published entry price is $249 MXN per month for the Basic plan (one branch), or $14 USD per month when the company does not operate in Mexican pesos. Premium is $399 MXN or $23 USD per month (up to 3 branches). Platinum is $599 MXN or $34 USD per month (up to 5 branches). Annual amounts are also published. The pricing page does not break out VAT. Confirm the total before you subscribe.

Does the free trial require a card?

No. Brilloo’s trial is 30 days and does not ask for a card. When the trial ends, the subscription continues unless you cancel before you are charged. OXXO and SPEI pay the software subscription in MXN. They do not charge the driver’s wash at the counter.

Can I sell wash memberships without automatic card billing?

Yes. Brilloo sells the pass at the counter. You can print a card or send it on WhatsApp, and you renew it by hand. Each sale is a new pass. It does not charge the customer’s card every month. If you need automatic renewal, ask another vendor whether they offer that model.

What does Brilloo not do?

Brilloo pays commissions to the person who sells at the counter, not to washers by production. It has no time clock, does not issue Mexican CFDI invoices, does not store license plates, and has no yard or queue screen. Memberships are not recurring charges. Those gaps are product decisions. If one of them is required, look at a system that publishes that feature.

Next step

Run the trial on a real shift. If washer pay, a time clock, CFDI, plates, or a yard screen is required, say so before you subscribe and compare a product that publishes that feature.

Try Brilloo at your branch

The trial lasts 30 days and does not ask for a card. Use it next to another option, with your team, during a real shift.
